Quick, think fast: do you remember the name of the business who cleaned your carpet a year ago? How about the place that helped you find the perfect gift for your Mother and get it to her last-minute for her birthday? They both did a good job for you, and you would use them again in a heartbeat if you could just remember their name… Chances are customers are more likely to remember the business that did a bad job for them than they are likely to remember the good companies that deserve the repeat business. Business owners, like everyone else, are sensitive to sending emails to a customer base because we don’t want to be labelled as “spammers”.
